25.01.18 - Bricks started being laid

The brick layers were out today to lay the first two courses of bricks all the way around the house. They laid bricks up to the floor level and then installed the termi-mesh.

We are so happy with the PGH Aluminium bricks that we chose and how they look with off-white ironed mortar. We were a little worried that off-white mortar could've been a bit beige/yellow, which would've made the grey bricks look a bit odd. But it has come up perfect. Looking forward to seeing all the bricks done!
